{"id":57006,"date":"2019-03-15T11:01:43","date_gmt":"2019-03-15T11:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=57006"},"modified":"2019-03-15T11:01:44","modified_gmt":"2019-03-15T11:01:44","slug":"supreme-court-reserves-its-order-on-examining-documents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/supreme-court-reserves-its-order-on-examining-documents\/","title":{"rendered":"Supreme Court reserves its order on examining documents"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Supreme Court on Thursday reserved orders on the preliminary objections raised by the Central government that the documents presented by the petitioners cannot be relied on by the Court as they are privileged documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attorney General argued that the documents presented are privileged documents, which cannot be considered in evidence as per Section 123 of the Indian Evidence Act.The documents are protected under the Official Secrets Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AG said that the disclosure of these documents is also exempted under the Right to Information Act.
