\u201cEvery cricketer wants to play in the World Cup, I do have a dream but right now I am more concerned about IPL matches,\u201d Rahane said at a press conference here today. \u201cEvery tournament is important for me, and I do not want to build any pressure at this moment, when RR is trying to win matches passionately,\u201d he added. \u201cMy sole focus is on IPL victory. Rest of the things will happen automatically. I am sure if I play better, you guys will make pressure that I come in the World Cup team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is highly unlikely that he will be India’s No. 4 at the upcoming World Cup but India’s Test vice-captain is keen to add on to his 90 ODIs.\u201cI have never had complaints about my batting order and have performed anywhere I have batted. I don’t want to put any pressure on myself by thinking about the No. 4 spot in the Indian team. I understand that batting order depends on a lot of things. For India, I am ready to bat at any position,\u201d Rahane said during a media conference organised by the Rajasthan Royals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
