Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who is making is Telugu debut in Chiranjeevi\u2019s upcoming magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has signed his second film in the language. He has been roped in to play the antagonist in debutant Vasihnav Tej\u2019s upcoming Telugu film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though extremely busy with a slew of Tamil projects, Vijay Sethupathi agreed to work in this project because he really liked his character, according to a source.
\n\u201cVijay really didn\u2019t have dates for this film. However, he made time after he heard the script and was really impressed with his character. He immediately gave his nod,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To be directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film will be a love story set against a rural backdrop. \u201cWe want to transport the viewers to a new place and wanted to bring the best technicians on board to ensure a visual feast for the audience. The film will also mark the Tollywood debut of Manisha Raj, who will be essaying the female lead,\u201d director Buchi Babu was quoted saying in an interview to Times of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shyam Dutt of Vishwaroopam 2 fame will be cranking the camera while the duo of Ramakrishna and Mounica, who worked in last year\u2019s blockbuster Rangasthalam, will be handling the production design.
