{"id":58889,"date":"2019-04-11T11:28:13","date_gmt":"2019-04-11T11:28:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=58889"},"modified":"2019-04-11T11:28:13","modified_gmt":"2019-04-11T11:28:13","slug":"election-commission-bans-modi-biopic-during-election-period","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/election-commission-bans-modi-biopic-during-election-period\/","title":{"rendered":"Election Commission bans Modi biopic during election period"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>New Delhi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n Election Commission on Wednesday banned the screening of the biopic on \nPrime Minister Narendra Modi during poll period, saying any such film \nthat sub-served purpose of any political entity or individual should not\n be displayed in the electronic media.<br><br>The official referred to a\n paragraph in the order that said: &#8220;Any poster or publicity material \nconcerning any such certified content, which either depicts a candidate \n(including prospective) for the furtherance of electoral prospects, \ndirectly or indirectly, shall not be put on display in electronic media \nin the area where MCC is in force&#8221;.<br><br>Actor Vivek Oberoi, who plays\n Narendra Modi in the biopic, cancelled a press meet scheduled at Nagpur\n on Wednesday after the order came.
