On the auspicious occasion of 550th Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Punjab small industries & Export Corporation Ltd. (PSIEC) has been assigned the task of making available the commemorative medallions in connection with the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Divulging this, Mrs. \nVini Mahajan, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Industries &\n Commerce, Punjab said that the PSIEC had made arrangements with the \nMMTC for the purpose of designing and fabrication of these commemorative\n medallions, which would be made available in both India and overseas to\n the devotees and general public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A soft launch of these \nmedallions was held on this occasion of Vaisakhi, today at Phulkari, \nPSIEC Emporium, Sector 17, Chandigarh by Bhai Sukhdip Singh Sidhu, GM \n(Export), PSIEC.On the occasion, Mr. Rahul Bhandari, Managing Director,\n PSIEC, disclosed that these commemorative medallions have also been \ncertified from the MMTC for 999 purity in both Gold & Silver with \nattractive blister packing, In 24 K gold, these are available in 5 &\n 10 gms (999purity) & in 50 gms pure silver (999 purity). He further\n informed that the sale price of 5gm gold (999 purity) is Rs 18,500\/-, \nRs 37,000\/- for 10 gm gold (999 purity) and 50 gms silver (999 purity) \nwould be sold at Rs. 2,900\/-.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bhai Sukhdip Singh Sidhu, General \nManager(Exports) stated that these commemorative medallions would be \nsold through Phulkari Emporiums of PSIEC situated at Chandigarh, \nAmritsar, Patiala, Delhi & Kolkata. Besides, the MMTC would also be \nselling these at their retail outlets located throughout India. The \nPSIEC is also undertaking the process of making available these \ncommemorative medallions to the devotees and general public through \nleading banks and e-commerce platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The PSIEC had also \nreleased Commemorative medallions in the past on the occasion of 300th \nyear of Khalsa foundation celebrations which attracted huge response \nworldwide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
