Alia and her Kalank co-actors Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha were asked in a recent India Today interview how they can help impact the elections. \u201cBy voting,\u201d said Varun, Aditya and Sonakshi. But when Alia was asked the question separately, she said, \u201cI can\u2019t vote.\u201d Asked for a reason, she said, \u201cPassport.\u201d

Alia, Varun, and a \nhost of other actors visited New Delhi earlier this year, for a special \nmeeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which they discussed, \namong other things, how the film industry can contribute to the nation.
