Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Monday accused Congress President Rahul Gandhi of manufacturing Supreme Court order on Rafale deal for political propaganda and said \u2018right to free speech\u2019 is not \u2018right to falsehood\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\n minister was commenting on the Supreme Court order which said that the \nremarks made by Gandhi on its April 10 Rafale case verdict were \n\u201cincorrectly attributed\u201d to the apex court and directed the Congress \nPresident to give his explanation by April 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a series of \ntweets, Jaitley said, \u201cIn Rahul Gandhi\u2019s politics, the Right to Free \nSpeech includes the Right to Falsehood\u201d. He further said dynasts are \nalso subject to the Supreme Court and while truth holds together, \nfalsehood falls apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Supreme Court on April 10 allowed the \nplea of petitioners relying on leaked documents for seeking review of \nits Rafale judgement and dismissed the government\u2019s preliminary \nobjections claiming \u201cprivilege\u201d over them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi\n in her plea before the Supreme Court alleged that Gandhi has attributed\n his personal remarks to the top court and tried to create prejudice.The\n Congress president on April 10 claimed that the apex court has made it \n\u201cclear\u201d that Prime Minister Narendra Modi \u201ccommitted a theft\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
