Amrinder should take the initiative to revisit the reservation policy &#8211; NSCA<\/strong><br><br>Patiala<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National\n Scheduled Casted Alliance and its President Paramjit Singh Kainth today\n criticized the State Government for being inefficient in providing \nresponsibe governance relating to the issues of the Scheduled Castes \ncommunity in Punjab.<br><br>Kainth said,&#8221; Various schemes for the \nbenefit of the community have either been implemented in a faulty manner\n or there was various frauds and corruption plaguing the working of the \nschemes. There is clear lack of responsible governance from this current\n government. Scheduled Castes community has suffered immensely due to \nthis attitude of the government.&#8221;<br><br>He further said,&#8221; What kind of \nfreedom are we celebrating in the 72nd year of independence when a \npersom of the Scheduled Casted community is subjected to everyday \ndiscrimination and atrocities. Further more the ordeals that the victims\n has to go through are nothing short of an embarassment for the \ngovernment.&#8221;<br><br>Pointing a flaw in the reservation policy of the \ngovernment, Kainth said,&#8221; The reservation policy has not been&nbsp; reviewed \nsince 1974. The basis for reservation should be in proportion of the \npopulation. There should be a significant increase in this regard and \nCapt.
