Thapa secured a  thrilling 4-1 win over South Korea\u2019s Kim Wonho and is now a couple of  wins away from a medal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thapa can add to the gold, bronze and \nsilver he won in the 2013, 2015 and 2017 editions, respectively. The \nAssam pugilist will next take on Kyrgyzstan\u2019s Seitbek Uulu for a place \nin the quarterfinals on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lovlina Borgohain, also of Assam,\n outpunched Vietnam\u2019s Tran Thi Linh 5-0 to advance to the quarterfinals.\n She is expected to face a stiff challenge from Chinese Taipei\u2019s Chen \nNien-Chin on Monday. Deepak continued his good form at the elite event \nwith yet another commanding 5-0 win over Sri Lanka\u2019s Mutunaka Pedi \nGedara. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rohit Tokas (64kg) displayed his speed and alertness in \nhis 5-0 thrashing of Afghanistan\u2019s Nooristani Mohammad Khaibar to enter \nthe last-8. Kavinder Singh Bisht (56kg) registered a 5-0 victory over \nJapan\u2019s Subaru Murata.
