{"id":59641,"date":"2019-04-21T08:40:16","date_gmt":"2019-04-21T08:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=59641"},"modified":"2019-04-21T08:40:17","modified_gmt":"2019-04-21T08:40:17","slug":"ravichandran-ashwin-fined-rs-12-lakh-for-slow-over-rate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/ravichandran-ashwin-fined-rs-12-lakh-for-slow-over-rate\/","title":{"rendered":"Ravichandran Ashwin fined Rs 12 lakh for slow over rate"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kings XI  Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin has been fined for slow over-rate in  the team\u2019s Saturday match against Delhi Capitals in the ongoing edition  of the Indian Premier League .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ashwin has been fined Rs 12 lakh \nas it was his team\u2019s first offence of the season under the IPL\u2019s code of\n conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kings XI Punjab \nlost their fifth match of the season as they suffered a five-wicket \ndefeat against Delhi Capitals at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New \nDelhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Punjab posted a target of 164 runs, owing to Chris Gayle\u2019s\n knock of 69 runs off just 37 deliveries. But Delhi had no problem in \nchasing down the total as both Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer scored \nhalf-centuries to guide the team over the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kings XI Punjab, \nhowever, continue to remain in fourth place in the league standings.
