At least 32 foreign nationals including five \nIndians are among the victims. Over 500 people are injured and \nhospitalized following the attacks targeting three five-star hotels in \ncapital Colombo and three churches across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prime \nMinister Ranil Wickremesinghe said Sri Lanka\u2019s government was aware of \ninformation regarding a possible attack adding they will look into why \nadequate precautions were not taken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sri Lankan PM Wickremesinghe\n said the names that have come up are local, but investigators will look\n into whether the attackers had any overseas links. Sri Lankan President\n Maithripala Sirisena has announced appointment of a special committee \nled by retired Supreme Court judge to investigate the attacks and submit\n its report within two weeks.Sri Lankan police has confirmed involvement\n of suicide bombers at four locations in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among other\n incidents, an Improvised Explosive Device was detected and diffused \nnear the departure area of Bandaranaike International Airport last \nevening. Security has been tightened at all sensitive places across the \ncountry.
