Nearly 58 per cent of Alto customers have \nchosen it as their first car purchase,\u201d MSI Senior Executive Director \n(Marketing & Sales) RS Kalsi said.The new Alto 800 is country\u2019s \nfirst BS-VI compliant entry segment car with a powerful engine and high \nfuel efficiency of 22.05 km\/litre, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The model now comes \nwith anti-lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution \nsystem. Other standard safety features include reverse parking sensor, \ndriver airbag, speed alert system and seat belt reminder for both driver\n and co-driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It also complies with upcoming crash and \npedestrian safety regulation.The new Alto 800 would be available in \nthree variants priced at Rs 2.93 lakh, Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 3.71 lakh \nrespectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The model was earlier priced between Rs 2.63 lakh \nand Rs 3.93 lakh .MSI has sold over 3.7 million units of the model since\n its launch in 2000.Earlier, this month, the company had upgraded Alto \nK10 with various safety features leading to a price increase of the \nmodel by up to Rs 23,000 in Delhi\/NCR.\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
