{"id":60001,"date":"2019-04-26T11:26:53","date_gmt":"2019-04-26T11:26:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=60001"},"modified":"2019-04-26T11:26:55","modified_gmt":"2019-04-26T11:26:55","slug":"lok-sabha-polls-nomination-papers-not-to-be-filed-on-april-27-28-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/lok-sabha-polls-nomination-papers-not-to-be-filed-on-april-27-28-ceo\/","title":{"rendered":"LOK SABHA POLLS-NOMINATION PAPERS NOT TO BE FILED ON APRIL 27 &#038; 28: CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The  Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab Dr. S Karuna Raju on Thursday informed  that no nomination papers for the Lok Sabha Polls would be filed on  April 27 and 28 in view of holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Disclosing this, Dr. S \nKaruna Raju said that as per the schedule announced to file nomination \npapers for the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 elections started with issuance \nof notification on April 22, 2019 (Monday), which would remain continue \ntill April 29, 2019 (Monday).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CEO informed that 27 April, \n2019 being 4th Saturday is a holiday under the Negotiable Instruments \nAct, 1881; Therefore, nomination papers cannot be presented to the \nReturning Officer on that day. Likewise, 28 April, 2019 being Sunday is \nalso a holiday.
