Rupinder is returning to the squad after a long injury lay-off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\n last played for India at the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta last year. The\n 18-member squad, announced by Hockey India, will be led by midfielder \nManpreet Singh while Surender Kumar has been named as the vice-captain. \nThe tour, marked as a preparation for next month\u2019s Hockey Series Final \nin Bhubaneswar, will be chief coach Graham Reid\u2019s maiden assignment with\n the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Australia tour, India will try out youngsters \nbesides testing experienced players before picking the team for the \nHockey Series Final, to be held from June 6 to 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \n25-year-old Jalandhar-born Jaskaran will make his debut in the Indian \nmidfield alongside Hardik Singh, Manpreet, Vivek Sagar Prasad and \nNilakanta Sharma. \u201cThis tour will provide me with a great chance to get \nto know this group of players.
