Singer Mel B, who is currently involved in a bitter divorce battle with estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, says she is strong enough to raise her children alone. Mel B has an 18-year-old daughter Phoenix with her former husband Jimmy Gulzar, as well as Angel, 10, with comedian Eddie Murphy and Madison, six, with Belafonte.<\/p>\n
The 42-year-old wrote an empowering message about single parenthood on Instagram on September 24, reports metro.co.uk. \u201cTalking with my 18-year-old daughter today and I told her I learned the hard way in life that and that cannot always count on others to respect my feelings even if I respect theirs.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added: \u201cBeing a good person doesn\u2019t guarantee that others will be good people too, you only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person, as for others well you can choose to either accept them or walk away, even if your left all alone with no one it doesn\u2019t really mean you\u2019re alone, no. It just means you\u2019re strong enough to handle things all by yourself. Boom she replied hell yeh mummy that\u2019s why I love you, then I cried! I love my three daughters, they are my everything, my heart, my soul, my world.\u201d<\/p>\n
