A total of 8 candidates withdrew their nomination papers on day 1 of withdrawal. Disclosing this here today the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, Dr. S. Karuna Raju said that 385 candidates had filed their nominations papers for 13 Parliamentary Constituencies of the State. He further said that during the scrutiny 297 nominations were found valid while scrutiny of 01 nomination paper is pending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further said that today after \nwithdrawal of 1 candidate, 15 candidates are left in the fray for \nParliamentary Constituency (PC)-01 Gurdaspur. A total of 30 candidates \nare left in fray for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-02 Amritsar as none\n of the candidates withdrew the nomination. After withdrawal of 2 \ncandidates, 19 candidates are left in the fray for Parliamentary \nConstituency (PC)-03 Khadoor Sahib, A total of 19 candidates are left in\n fray for PC 04-Jalandhar (SC) as none of the candidates withdrew the \nnomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further said that a total of 8 candidates are left\n in fray for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-05 Hoshiarpur (SC) as none\n of the candidates withdrew the nomination, after withdrawal of 1 \ncandidate, 26 candidates are left in the fray for Parliamentary \nConstituency (PC)-06 Anandpur Sahib, A total of 23 candidates are left \nin fray for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-07 Ludhiana as none of the \ncandidates withdrew the nomination, after withdrawal of 1 candidate 21 \ncandidates are left in the fray for Parliamentary Constituency (PC)-08 \nFatehgarh Sahib, A total of 22 candidates are left in fray for PC \n09-Faridkot (SC) as none of the candidates withdrew the nomination, A \ntotal of 22 candidates are left in fray for Parliamentary Constituency \n(PC)-10 Ferozepur as none of the candidates withdrew the nomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
