The Election Commission \nhas given another clean chit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi with regard\n to a complaint concerning alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct in\n a speech at Nanded, Maharashtra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement, the commission \nsaid, the matter has been examined in detail and after examination of \ncomplete transcript of speech sent by the Returning Officer, Nanded \nParliamentary Constituency, the Commission is of the considered view \nthat in this matter no such violation of poll norms took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\n Election Commission has found no violation of model code or its \ninstructions on armed forces in two speeches delivered by BJP president \nAmit Shah in West Bengal and Maharashtra.The Commission concluded that \nit is of the considered view that in this matter, no such violation of \nMCC or ECI’s instructions is made out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Election Commission \ngave an extension till May 7 to Congress chief Rahul Gandhi for replying\n to its notice, which was issued over his remark that the Narendra Modi \ngovernment has enacted a new law which permitted tribals to be shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
