In \nthe midst of the fifth phase of polling on Monday, PM Modi addressed \nthree rallies in West Bengal and Jharkhand for seats that are going to \nthe polls in the next phase. The PM recounted the achievements of his \ntenure and asked the voters to renew their mandate for the NDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At\n the first rally in Tamluk, West Bengal the PM targeted the Mamta \nBanejee led state Government, saying it did not have the interests of \nthe common man at heart, unlike the BJP which stands with the common \nman, agriculture workers and youth. The PM said even children in West \nBengal are well aware of the Triple T tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At his next rally in \nJhargram, the Prime Minister hit out at the Left parties, saying that \nthe communists had made insulting the epics Ramayana and Mahabharata, a \nregular feature of their discourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Chaibasa Jharkhand, the \nPrime Minister listed the achievements of his government while attacking\n the opposition. Meanwhile, BJP President Amit Shah addressed six \nrallies in Bihar on Monday seeking support for NDA candidates. Amit Shah\n declared that only Prime Minister Narendra Modi had the ability to \nprotect the country’s security and bring about development, by improving\n the quality of life. He said the people have made up their minds to \ngive PM Modi a fresh mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath \ncontinued to campaign in Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath addressed \npanchayat heads in Gorakhpur. Allegations and counter allegations \ncontinue to define the political slugfest in West Bengal. BJP fiercely \nblamed the Mamta Banerjee Government for electoral violence in the \nstate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And as the election makes its way to Delhi, the numbers of\n political affiliation changers is on the rise. AAP MLA Devendra Singh \nSehrawat has joined the BJP, in the presence of senior BJP leaders.
