\u201cThe\n Duchess went into labour in the early hours of this morning. The Duke \nof Sussex was by Her Royal Highness\u2019 side. An announcement will be made \nsoon,\u201d the statement had said.The child, the couple\u2019s first, is the \nseventh-in-line to the British throne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Queen Elizabeth\u2019s grandson\n Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, a U.S.-born former actress, married in a \nlavish ceremony at the monarch\u2019s Windsor Castle home in May last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\n baby boy is the eighth great grandchild of the 93-year-old queen, the \nworld\u2019s longest-reigning monarch, and could be entitled to hold joint \nBritish and American citizenship according to nationality rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However,\n the child will not automatically be a prince or a princess as any such \ntitle will have to be bestowed by the queen by issuing what is known as a\n letter patent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
