Actor Trupti Toradmal made heads turn with her debut in the psychological thriller, Savita Damodar Paranjape (2018). The film got her awards as well as appreciation for her portrayal of Kussum Abhyankar. The actor is now gearing up to woo the audience yet again in a completely new avatar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trupti has \nsigned Digpal Lanjekar\u2019s Fatteshikast and will be seen in an interesting\n and brave character in the historical film. \u201cI took time and decided to\n wait. After the release, a lot of offers came, but nothing excited me. \nThe roles were either just arm candies or glamorous. I want to be able \nto create a bouquet of different kind of roles,\u201d says the daughter of \nveteran actor-writer Madhukar Toradmal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The actor is fine with \ndoing just a few films a year. She says, \u201cI am a bit too picky. I want \nto be associated with quality work. The number of films doesn\u2019t really \nmatter, because I want to focus on good products. I choose scripts with \nmy gut feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On working with Digpal, she adds that they \ncoincidentally were introduced to each other at an award function. And \nthen, they decided to work together. \u201cDigpal is spot on with his work. I\n consider this as a dream come true, because after I watched Farzand, I \nwished I could work with Digpal. I feel blessed that it is happening,\u201d \nshe says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For her research and preparation, Trupti turned to her \nmother\u2019s (Pramila Ghorpade) side of the family, as their come from the \nlineage of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj clan. She plays a brave warrior \nin the film, but she refuses to reveal more details of the same. \u201cMy \nfather had once told me that apart from your own inputs, you should \nalways go with the director. He believed that only then each performance\n of yours will be different. I plan to do the same with this film,\u201d she \nsigns off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
