In 2009, Aditi Govitrikar played the character of Dream girl in Sanjay Jadhav\u2019s Ringa Ringa, which marked her debut in the Marathi film industry. That was a decade ago, and now Aditi will be seen in a full-fledged role in Vikram Phadnis\u2019s second Marathi film, Smile Please. The actor says it was the strong and powerful script that got her excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe script is \nthe hero of the film. It is so powerful and I know the film will go on \nto become a classic. Also, I get to play an important and crucial role,\u201d\n says Aditi, who was born in Pune . This will also be the first time the\n real life doctor will be playing a reel one. The 16 December actor is \ncurrently pursuing her second masters in psychology from Harvard \nuniversity and has already completed a post graduate course in \ncounselling, from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She also has a \nmaster\u2019s degree in psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open \nUniversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Interestingly, Vikram and Aditi\u2019s friendship goes way\n back to when the former was a choreographer and a budding designer. \u201cIn\n the initial years when Vikram would choreograph shows, I would attend \nalmost all his show. He is on of my oldest friends. When he made \nHrudayantar , I pointed out that I would love to be a part of his future\n films. So, when he was making Smile Please, he approached me,\u201d she \nsays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aditi admits that she is a complete director\u2019s actor. On \nbeing asked whether working with a friend is easier, Aditi says \u201cMy \nanswer would be yes and no. When the person is not familiar, they derive\n a different output from you. They tend to bring about a different \nperspective. Of course, when you are working with someone familiar, the \nunderstanding helps. You tend to know what works and what doesn\u2019t.\u201d
