{"id":60983,"date":"2019-05-10T11:32:46","date_gmt":"2019-05-10T11:32:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=60983"},"modified":"2019-05-10T11:32:47","modified_gmt":"2019-05-10T11:32:47","slug":"collegium-reiterates-names-of-2-judges-for-elevation-to-sc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/collegium-reiterates-names-of-2-judges-for-elevation-to-sc\/","title":{"rendered":"Collegium reiterates names of 2 judges for elevation to SC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Rejecting  the government\u2019s objections, the Supreme Court collegium has reiterated  its recommendation to elevate Justices Aniruddha Bose and AS Bopanna to  the apex court, observing that nothing adverse has been found regarding  their competence, conduct or integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collegium has also \nrecommended the names of Justices BR Gavai and Surya Kant for elevation.\n The five-member collegium, headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi, deliberated on \nthe elevation of the four HC judges and its resolution said: \u201cThe \ncollegium resolves to reiterate the recommendation dated April 12, \nespecially since nothing adverse regarding competence, conduct or \nintegrity of Justices&nbsp; Bose and Bopanna has been pointed out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n government had earlier returned the names of the two judges, citing \nseniority and representation of regions as the reasons.
