{"id":61022,"date":"2019-05-11T11:36:03","date_gmt":"2019-05-11T11:36:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=61022"},"modified":"2019-05-11T11:36:04","modified_gmt":"2019-05-11T11:36:04","slug":"sri-lankan-government-has-issued-guidelines-to-trustees-of-mosques","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/sri-lankan-government-has-issued-guidelines-to-trustees-of-mosques\/","title":{"rendered":"Sri Lankan government has issued guidelines to trustees of mosques"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Sri  Lankan government has issued guidelines to trustees of mosques not to  engage in or permit any gathering to promote or propagate hatred or  extremism in any form.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Muslim religious and \ncultural affairs issued a set of guidelines to all the trustees of \nmosques advising not to use mosques for radicalizing congregations. It \nsaid no group should be allowed to engage in such efforts and the \nrelevant board of trustees will be held responsible if such a thing \nhappens. The Muslim mosques have also been instructed to record Jummah \nprayers or other sermons within their premises and submit the copies of \nthose to the Ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guidelines also stipulate&nbsp; that \nmosques provide their full cooperation and support to the security \nforces in their efforts to eliminate terrorism. The government has \nalready imposed ban on burqa and religious preaching which promotes \nterrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guidelines came in wake of Easter Sunday attacks \nwhich killed over 258 people including 45 foreigners.
