{"id":61160,"date":"2019-05-13T11:25:03","date_gmt":"2019-05-13T11:25:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=61160"},"modified":"2019-05-13T11:25:05","modified_gmt":"2019-05-13T11:25:05","slug":"social-banned-in-sri-lanka-after-unrest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/social-banned-in-sri-lanka-after-unrest\/","title":{"rendered":"Social banned in Sri Lanka after unrest"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\nIn Sri Lanka, several social media sites have been temporarily blocked \nfollowing attacks on mosques and business establishments of Muslim \ncommunity in few areas from Sunday.Overnight curfew was imposed in \nseveral areas, around 80 km north of Colombo as mobs had gathered to \ntarget the community in wake of Easter Sunday attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police\n curfew imposed in Chilaw, Kuliyapitiya, Bingiriya and Dummalasuriya has\n been lifted since morning and the situation is under control.Earlier, \npolice arrested a group of men for allegedly attacking Muslim-owned \nbusinesses but&nbsp; a mob gathered outside police station to demand the \nrelease of arrested men. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A police spokesman said curfew was \nimposed to control the situation.
