In Sri Lanka, night curfew will continue in affected areas even as there has been no reports of any violence since yesterday. There was night curfew countrywide for last two days following violence targeting Muslims, which has been lifted now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that 78 suspects in the North \nWestern Province have been arrested and remanded for inciting violence \nagainst Muslim minorities in which dozens of shops and houses were \ndamaged.Meanwhile, a defence spokesman has said that an investigation \nhas been launched in a video clip which showed an armed forces personnel\n helping the rioters carry out the attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sri Lanka Air Force \nhas said it will deploy helicopters day and night to capture the \nperpetrators of disruptive activities in the affected areas as well as \nin other parts of the country.Air Force Spokesman said that people who \nare engaging in disruptive activities, will be photographed from air to \nuse them as evidence against the perpetrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Security remains \ntight all over the country in wake of Vesak celebrations beginning \ntoday.
