Priyanka said the EC had been \u201cunfair\u201d in its \ndealings and decisions and had \u201cabdicated\u201d its responsibility. She was \nreferring to the controversy surrounding the EC \u201cclean chits\u201d to PM \nNarendra Modi as also its \u201cinaction\u201d over complaints by the Congress and\n its decision curtailing the campaigning in West Bengal. Alleging the \nConstitution had been tampered with and institutions attacked, she said \nthe BJP and its government\u2019s view on patriotism was \u201cconstricted\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Candid\n in her admission that a certain amount of arrogance had crept into the \nUPA-2 towards the fag end of its term, she said, \u201cI see the same kind of\n arrogance, but 100 times more, in the BJP. It will be their undoing as \nwell.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
