{"id":6150,"date":"2017-09-27T11:32:08","date_gmt":"2017-09-27T11:32:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=6150"},"modified":"2017-09-27T16:24:15","modified_gmt":"2017-09-27T16:24:15","slug":"dc-exhorts-youth-to-come-forward-for-achieving-goal-of-100-voluntary-blood-donation-in-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/dc-exhorts-youth-to-come-forward-for-achieving-goal-of-100-voluntary-blood-donation-in-district\/","title":{"rendered":"DC EXHORTS YOUTH TO COME FORWARD FOR ACHIEVING GOAL OF 100% VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION IN DISTRICT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UNDERSCORES THE NEED FOR ORGANIZING MORE AND MORE NUMBER OF BLOOD DONATION CAMPS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jalandhar<br \/>\nAsserting that Punjabi youth have inherited the qualities of hard work, dedication and valor from their forefathers, the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma today exhorted the youth to come forward to achieve the goal of 100% voluntary blood donation in the district.<\/p>\n<p>Interacting with the students during a Blood donation camp organized in Meharchand Polytechnic College in the city, the Deputy Commissioner said that there was no reason that our youth should lag behind in achieving this goal, which was a true service of humanity. Mr. Sharma said that the trend to donate blood must be encouraged amongst the youngsters. He said that it was all the more important for creating a healthy blood bank, which could be utilized in case of any emergency.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Commissioner asked the youth to realize that every blood donor was a hero due to which they should play an important role in this noble cause by donating blood regularly after every three months. He also asked them to motivate their peers to become regular voluntary blood donors to ensure sufficient stocks of blood needed for routine and emergency treatment. Underscoring the need for more blood donation camps, Mr. Sharma said that the educational institutions must come forward for making the students aware about the benefits of blood donation.
