{"id":6156,"date":"2017-09-27T11:34:24","date_gmt":"2017-09-27T11:34:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=6156"},"modified":"2017-09-27T16:23:57","modified_gmt":"2017-09-27T16:23:57","slug":"appointment-of-220-grs-soon-to-give-impetus-to-mgnrega-scheme-in-the-district-dc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/appointment-of-220-grs-soon-to-give-impetus-to-mgnrega-scheme-in-the-district-dc\/","title":{"rendered":"APPOINTMENT OF 220 GRS SOON TO GIVE IMPETUS TO MGNREGA SCHEME IN THE DISTRICT- DC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BATS FOR OPTIMUM UTILIZATION OF THIS GAME CHANGER SCHEME<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jalandhar<br \/>\nDeputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma today said that in order to give further impetus to the implementation of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) scheme the process of recruiting 220 Gram Rozgar Sewaks would be completed soon.<\/p>\n<p>Divulging the details, the Deputy Commissioner said that these Gram Rozgar Sewaks would be entrusted the job of effective monitoring and execution of works to be conducted under the MNREGA scheme. He said that the recruitment process of these Rozgar Sewaks would be completed shortly and subsequently they would be asked to work in the 11 blocks of the district. Mr. Sharma said that after the recruitment an orientation program of these Rozgar Sewaks would be held to apprise them about their duties.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Commissioner said that MGNREGA could act as a game changer for the district by ensuring holistic development of the rural areas. He asked the officers to ensure optimum utilization of the this scheme which would provide 100 days job to people on one hand and further propel the pace of comprehensive development of the villages on the other hand. Mr. Sharma asked the officers especially the Block Development and Panchayat Officers to study the various projects undertaken across the country under the scheme so that it could be implemented in the district with full zeal. He also told the BDPOs to start maximum works in rural areas under this scheme.
