It is part of the Khadoor Sahib \nassembly constituency which the MP Ranjit Singh Brahmpura represents, \nthis village is 2 Km far from his native village Brahmpura. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAD \n(Taksali) president and MP Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, 81 years old, arrived\n at the polling station amid tight security. &#8220;Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra \nwill win easily. Punjab is looking forward to peace and development,&#8221; \nthe SAD (Taksali) president and MP Brahmpura said after exercising his \nfranchise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We have bowed before the sentiments of Sikh Sangat \n(Sikh Community) and we withdrew our candidate to ensure her win.
