The Manohar Lal Khattar-led government in Haryana is all set to build upon the goodwill it earned through the \u201cfair appointments\u201d by going into a recruitment overdrive to fill vacancies before the Assembly elections later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sources said while the process of teacher recruitment, set in motion before the Lok Sabha polls were announced, is in progress, the government is likely to shortly advertise nearly 20,000 Group C and D posts, as also those of patwari and junior engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Information available suggests that these posts are likely to be advertised immediately after the model code of conduct is lifted. Buoyed by the public\u2019s positive feedback received by the BJP leaders during the course of campaigning in Haryana on the Khattar government\u2019s \u201cfair recruitment\u201d, the BJP wants to take the exercise forward and reap its benefit in the Assembly elections likely to be held in October this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Notwithstanding the brownie points it has earned for the Khattar government, the growing unemployment remains the biggest challenge for the BJP and the Opposition has repeatedly trained its guns on Khattar for being unable to address this concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
