Students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized an \u201cIftar\u201d at its Campus to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadhan. The students distributed free Iftar boxes containing dates, Bananas, Biryani, Kheer and juice to the Kashmiri students on the occasion helping them break their fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that the majority of students studying in Aryans are from the valley. He added that earlier also, the JK students along with staff have organized Iftaar parties in Srinagar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is to be mentioned that Iftar is the meal eaten by Muslims to break their fast after sunset every day during Ramadan. While fasting, they eat in the morning before sunrise and then don’t eat all day until the sun sets. It is very important to breakfast at the one particular time that the calendar says. Many Muslims believe that feeding someone Iftar as a form of charity is very rewarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kataria further said that Aryans is becoming the first choice of JK Students in North India. Over 2000 students from various parts of JK are already studying in Aryans under different courses. These students have achieved many milestones in the field of academics, sports, cultural, innovations etc. In Academics, these students have won laurels for the Group by securing top positions in PTU Merit list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group said that Aryans JK students have done various innovations in the past. \u201cAryans Android App\u201d in lieu to make campuses paper-free, \u201cAryans Save Kashmir App\u201d which was developed for the rescue operation at the time of floods in Kashmir, \u201c Aryans Life-Saving Glove\u201d developed to provide timely assistance to the people prone to the risk of cardiac disease, \u201cAryans Safety Helmet\u201d to provide timely first aid facility in case disaster happens at construction\/ mining\/ industrial sites, \u201ceMunshi- Advocate Diary\u201d Android App which will buzz an alarm and remind the lawyers about the important Court Date and cases; \u201cAryans Shikara App\u201d to book online Shikara\u2019s at Dal Lake; \u201cAryans Solar Boat\u201d etc were launched and applauded at various Government Levels and gained interest of many people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To provide quality education to its students Aryans has entered into many foreign collaborations and tie-ups with foreign Universities\/Colleges. The college has signed MoU with many renowned colleges of Vancouver, Singapore few of which are Sprott Shaw College, Six Capital, Loyalist College, Pearson Education Services etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh\u2013Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. To help the needy & deserving students, Aryans has started various scholarship schemes including scholarship scheme for wards of Army personnel, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scholarship scheme, Late M.R. Kataria Memorial scholarship, Roshaan Scholarship scheme etc to pursue their higher education in various courses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
