It\u2019s silly to own a car in Mumbai. It takes 600,000 litres to make an average size car. Shouldn\u2019t we use that water to grow food instead?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kapur, who has made films like \u2018Bandit Queen\u2019, \u2018Masoom\u2019 and \u2018Mr India\u2019, replied: \u201cI don\u2019t need to own 20 imported cars to prove my self esteem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A social media troll then questioned him about him not having a car and said that \u201cBollywood celebrities have 20 plus imported cars\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kapur gained international recognition with \u2018Bandit Queen\u2019, based on the infamous Indian bandit and politician Phoolan Devi, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
