{"id":62993,"date":"2019-06-05T11:37:40","date_gmt":"2019-06-05T11:37:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=62993"},"modified":"2019-06-05T11:37:41","modified_gmt":"2019-06-05T11:37:41","slug":"dale-steyn-ruled-out-of-world-cup-no-chance-of-bowling-in-near-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/dale-steyn-ruled-out-of-world-cup-no-chance-of-bowling-in-near-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Dale Steyn ruled out of World Cup, no chance of bowling in near future"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>South Africa\u2019s pace spearhead Dale Steyn was on Tuesday ruled out of the World Cup after failing to recover from a shoulder injury, a development that could hasten his international retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 35-year-old, Steyn, had sustained a second shoulder injury during the IPL where he played a couple of games for Royal Challengers Bangalore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South Africa have named left-arm seamer Beuran Hendricks as his replacement after approval from the Event Technical committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe ICC has confirmed that the Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men\u2019s Cricket World Cup 2019 has approved Beuran Hendricks as a replacement player for Dale Steyn in the South Africa squad for the remainder of the tournament,\u201d a media release stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBowler Steyn has suffered a second shoulder injury which has not responded to treatment and has ruled him out of bowling for the foreseeable future.
