The pair have met on 12 occasions with the 11-times French Open champion Nadal winning eight times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thiem, however, has won their most recent head-to-head. The Austrian beat Nadal in the semi-finals of the Barcelona Open 6-4,6-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today&#8217;s final is also a repeat of last year&#8217;s finale when Nadal won in straight sets 6-4, 6-3, 6-2.
