The actor, who attained fame after his film Commando, was accused of smashing a bottle on a person\u2019s head in Mumbai in the year 2007. Aniket Nikam, Lawyer for Vidyut Jammwal in the case said: \u201cThe case pertains to an allegation levelled against Vidyut Jammwal in the year 2007 of assaulting somebody while he was partying in a club in Mumbai.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDuring the trial, we were able to establish that there was absolutely no incriminating evidence against the actor,\u201d he said, further asserting that \u201cthe court has accepted our submissions today and acquitted Jammwal.\u201d Harishnath Goswami, a friend of Vidyut who was also named in the matter, has been acquitted as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe prosecution has failed to establish any evidence. Hence both Vidyut Jammwal and his friend Harishnath Goswami have been acquitted in the matter,\u201d Nikam said.
