\nGiving traffic management a festive twist, the Gurugram police are dressing up as Ramlila characters to catch the violators on the city roads and sensitising them about traffic rules.<\/p>\n
The initiative, in collaboration with the local Road Security officers, kicked off from Huda City Centre at 11.00 am on Thursday and proceeded towards Sethi Chowk, Mahavir Chowk, Genpact Chowk and other locations on the Golf Course Road. While \u2018Ravana\u2019 went ahead catching helmetless drivers and reminding them how he had nine spare heads while they just had one, \u2018Lakshman\u2019 was seen telling people how zebra crossings or red light lines were modern day \u2018Lakshaman rekhas\u2019, and disrespecting these could lead to death.<\/p>\n
\u201cIgnorance of traffic rules is the biggest evil today as it claims one life every four minutes. People are excited about burning Ravan as a mark of end of evil but do not care about evils like accidents which claim so much more lives.
