Andhra Pradesh Government has served demolition notice to Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu over his luxury villa.
The\n notice to Naidu, who lost the state in an election that saw his rival \nYSR Congress party leader Jagan Mohan Reddy sweep into chief \nministership, came days after bull dozers lined up outside \u201cPraja \nVedika\u201d the public hall located a few meters from his house to tear it \ndown after it was declared illegal.
Both the house and \u201cPraja \nVedika\u201d form part of several constructions along the river Krishna at \nAmravati Andhra Pradesh\u2019s new capital city after it lost Hyderabad to \nTelangana which the government says violate rules.
The latest \nnotice was pasted next to the security guards\u2019 room at the luxury villa \nbecause government officials claimed Naidu\u2019s security guards did not \nallow them into the house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Naidu had rented his luxury villa \nfrom Lingamaneni Estates when he was still chief minister. TDP claims \nthey have submitted documents for the house to prove it was not illegal.
TDP\n calls the demolition drive political vendetta a claim Chief Minister \nJagan Mohan Reddy\u2019s government denies by saying that similar notices \nfrom the Andhra Pradesh Capital Development Authority (APCRDA) were \nissued to other \u201cillegal\u201d buildings on the river bank that violated \nenvironmental, ecological rules and building bylaws. \n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
