An announcement in regard to this was made during a meeting of the consultative group formed by the Chief Minster Captain Amarinder Singh for Employment Generation here today which was presided over by Technical Education &amp; Employment Generation Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi. Other members of the group included Mr. Sunder Sham Arora Industries Minister, Mr. Surjit Singh Dhiman MLA, Mr. Sanjay Talwar, Mr. Hardayal Singh Kamboj MLA, Mr. Gurpreet Singh GP MLA and Mr. Angad Saini MLA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minister said that 5th State Level Mega Job Fair would be organized from 19th September to September 30, 2019 with an aim to facilitate at least 1 Lac placements &amp; 1 Lac self-employment loans to youth. He said that the state level job fairs would be organised across the state in all districts at 75 venues across the state. \u20182nd International Job Fair would also be organised within six month,\u2019 added Channi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Consultative Group congratulated the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for successfully organising 4 State Level Mega Job Fairs and one International Job Fair. The minister also informed the members that this employment drive is continuously going on in the state and about 8.21 lac youth has been provided government\/private\/self employment till date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minister also informed the consultative group that the Punjab Government under the \u2018Punjab Ghar Ghar Rozgar and Karobar Misssion\u2019 is soon launching a \u2018Punjab Job Helpline\u2019 to reach out to every unemployed to assist him to provide job or self employment. Mr. Channi also informed the group that the Punjab Government is in a process of developing a mechanism for providing Foreign Employment &amp; Foreign Study facilitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prominent amongst others present in the meeting included Mr Rahul Tewari Secretary, Employment Generation and Training Department, Mr. R. Venkat Ratnam Principle Secretary Labour Department, Mr. Siban C.
