PUDA & other Special Development Authorities viz. GMADA, Patiala Development Authority (PDA), Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA), GLADA, Amritsar Development Authority (ADA) & Bathinda Development Authority (BDA) has earned revenue amounting to Rs. 71.69 crore from auction of various properties offered in the July e-auction. Properties disposed off include industrial plots, SCOs, booths, double storey shops, built-up booths, shops and residential plots. E-auction had commenced on 01-07-2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Divulging the details, a spokesperson said that revenue amounting to Rs. 43.50 crores in GMADA, Rs. 14.96 crores in JDA, Rs. 5.38 crores in BDA, Rs.3.91 crores in PDA, Rs. 3.29 crores in GLADA & Rs. 65.00 lac in ADA has been generated. He said that properties auctioned are located in Mohali, Patiala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Bathinda, Gurdaspur, Batala, Malout, Mukerian, Phillaur & Abohar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further informed that under jurisdiction of GMADA, 5 industrial plots ranging in size 0.5 acres to 1.26 were successfully auctioned. These industrial plots are located in Sector 83 Alpha & Sector 101 Alpha near the International Airport. Other than this, successful bids were received for 3 residential plots and 4 booths. These plots & booths are located in different sectors\/projects of GMADA, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria, Housing & Urban Development Minister-cum- Co-Chairman, PUDA expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the e-auction. He said the possession of sites auctioned shall be handed over to the allottees as per schedule.
