He also reviewed the preparedness of the States, Central Ministries and agencies concerned to deal with the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shah directed the senior officers to take every possible measure to deal with the situation and extend all necessary assistance to the flood affected states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the meeting MoS Home affairs Nityanand Rai said that the situation of floods is not severe.This was a meeting to alert the NDRF, IMD and other management to be on their toes for any requirement from states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director General of National Disaster Response Force, NDRF has said that 73 NDRF teams have been pre-positioned in vulnerable areas of flood affected states along with all necessary equipments.The Home Ministry said, NDRF Teams have rescued about 750 persons in Assam and Bihar.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday chaired a high level meeting to review the current flood situation in different parts of the country.
