{"id":6870,"date":"2017-10-05T11:53:48","date_gmt":"2017-10-05T11:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabnews24.com\/?p=6870"},"modified":"2017-10-05T11:53:48","modified_gmt":"2017-10-05T11:53:48","slug":"guv-for-security-audit-of-sensitive-establishments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/guv-for-security-audit-of-sensitive-establishments\/","title":{"rendered":"Guv for security audit of sensitive establishments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar<br \/>\nChief Minister Mehbooba Mufti held an hour-long discussion today evening with Governor NN Vohra to brief him about various important matters relating to the affairs of the state.<\/p>\n<p>An official statement said the meeting came in the wake of a fidayeen attack on the BSF headquarters in Srinagar, located next to the Srinagar airport, which resulted in the killing of three terrorists and a BSF Assistant Sub-Inspector. The Governor advised the Chief Minister to see that the heads of all security forces held an urgent meeting for a time-bound security audit being conducted for all sensitive\/important security forces establishments in the state. He observed that he had spoken on these lines with Dr SP Vaid, DGP, immediately after he was informed about the fidayeen attack.<\/p>\n<p>The Governor and the CM discussed various other matters, including the need for heads of departments and administrative secretaries putting in added effort and enforcing stringent control to ensure implementation of all development and welfare programmes within the envisaged time frames.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the need for firming up the work programme at least for the next six months, including elections to rural and urban local self-governing bodies, the Governor reiterated the importance of close day-to-day attention being given to ensure efficient delivery of public services and severe punishments to those involved in corrupt practices.
