{"id":69673,"date":"2019-09-03T11:24:11","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T11:24:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=69673"},"modified":"2019-09-03T11:24:12","modified_gmt":"2019-09-03T11:24:12","slug":"hearing-on-chidambarams-interim-bail-plea-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/hearing-on-chidambarams-interim-bail-plea-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Hearing on Chidambaram&#8217;s interim bail plea today"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Delhi court has extended CBI custody of Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram in the INX Media case till Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The court will also hear interim bail plea of Chidambaram on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The senior Congress leader was produced before the court on expiry of his three-day CBI custody which was granted on 30th of last month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chidambaram was arrested on August 21, after the Delhi High Court dismissed his anticipatory bail plea on August 20. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was earlier produced before the court on August 22 and was remanded to four-day CBI custody. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Tuesday, the apex court will also take up Chidambaram&#8217;s challenge to the non-bailable warrant (NBW) against him and remand orders passed by the trial court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Delhi court has extended CBI custody of Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram in the INX Media case till Tuesday.
