{"id":71404,"date":"2019-09-29T10:23:28","date_gmt":"2019-09-29T10:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=71404"},"modified":"2019-09-29T10:23:29","modified_gmt":"2019-09-29T10:23:29","slug":"iranian-foreign-minister-denies-plans-to-interfere-with-us-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/iranian-foreign-minister-denies-plans-to-interfere-with-us-election\/","title":{"rendered":"Iranian Foreign Minister denies plans to interfere with US election"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is denying his country would interfere with the upcoming US presidential election and says his government doesn\u2019t have a preference in the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an interview to air Sunday on NBC\u2019s \u201cMeet the Press,\u201d Zarif also accuses the US of initiating a cyberwar with his country and warns that \u201cany war the United States starts it won\u2019t be able to finish.\u201d       <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interview took place in New York, which Zarif visited this past week to attend meetings at the United Nations. NBC provided a partial transcript on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When \u201cMeet the Press\u201d moderator Chuck Todd noted that US intelligence included Iran among the countries attempting to interfere with the US election, Zarif responded, \u201cWe don\u2019t have a preference in your election to intervene in that election.\u201d           <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Iranian official cited Stuxnet, a computer virus that is widely believed to be a joint creation of the US and Israel and is blamed for disrupting thousands of Iranian centrifuges in an effort to damage its nuclear programme.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is denying his country would interfere with the upcoming US presidential election and says his government doesn\u2019t have a preference in the race.
