The Supreme Court refused to further entertain Rajya Sabha MP, Vaiko’s plea seeking to produce former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah before it and said the MDMK leader can challenge the detention order under the Public Safety Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi told Vaiko’s counsel that Abdullah was under detention under the Public Safety Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SITUATION CONTINUES TO BE NORMAL<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the abrogation of article 370 in J&K, the situation continues to be normal on Monday\u2026the 57th day.Markets opened and vehicular movement remained smooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Barring the mobile services, there is no other restriction in the valley.Mobile services are banned in Kashmir except Handwara and Kupwara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
