Chief of IAF, Army and Navy paid floral tribute at War Memorial at Air Force Station Hindon, in Ghaziabad on the occasion of Indian Air Force day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A scintillating air display by various aircraft is the hallmark of the Air Force Day Parade cum Investiture Ceremony.Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman leaded a &#8216;MiG formation&#8217; and flied a MiG Bison Aircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IAF showcased its Chinook transport and Apache attack helicopters for the first time since they were acquired from the US in the last few months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria said that Indian Air Force is on path of rapid modernisation through crucial acquisition like Rafale jets, S-400 missile system.He added that there is a need to concentrate on indigenization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air Chief said that IAF has inducted and operationalised a substantial number of indigenous systems as part of the modernisation plan.
