The U.S. first lady was responding to Ivana Trump\u2019s interview on ABC\u2019s \u201cGood Morning America\u201d program in which she jokingly referred to herself as first lady while promoting her book, \u201cRaising Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have the direct number to White House but I don\u2019t really want to call him there because Melania is there,\u201d the Czech-American, who was married to Donald Trump from 1977 to 1992, told ABC. \u201cI don\u2019t really want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I\u2019m basically first Trump wife, OK? I\u2019m first lady, OK?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Melania Trump\u2019s spokeswoman issued a statement that mentioned her son with Donald Trump, Barron. \u201cMrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the President. She loves living in Washington, DC and is honored by her role as First Lady of the United States.
