{"id":73156,"date":"2019-10-26T11:10:27","date_gmt":"2019-10-26T11:10:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=73156"},"modified":"2019-10-26T11:10:28","modified_gmt":"2019-10-26T11:10:28","slug":"winning-does-not-absolve-gopal-kanda-of-crime-says-uma-bharti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/winning-does-not-absolve-gopal-kanda-of-crime-says-uma-bharti\/","title":{"rendered":"Winning does not absolve Gopal Kanda of crime, says Uma Bharti"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hours after the BJP roped in controversial Haryana Lokhit Party legislator Gopal Kanda to stake claim for government formation, senior BJP leader Uma Bharti criticised the move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BJP, which is six MLAs short of the magic figure in Haryana, has decided to take support of Independent candidates, which include Gopal Kanda.In a series of tweets, the former Union minister reminded the party of the \u201chigh moral grounds\u201d that it had set for its \u201cleaders and workers\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Geetika Sharma\u2019s brother said that he was disappointed that people voted a person with criminal background to power, adding that, he was also worried that Kanda may try to allegedly \u201cinfluence the case\u201d.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Geetika Sharma, a former air hostess with the MDLR airline had committed suicide. She left two suicide notes accusing Kanda and an aide of harassment.
