{"id":76519,"date":"2019-12-17T11:07:36","date_gmt":"2019-12-17T11:07:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/?p=76519"},"modified":"2019-12-17T11:07:37","modified_gmt":"2019-12-17T11:07:37","slug":"west-indies-fined-for-slow-over-rate-against-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blastingskyhawk.com\/english\/west-indies-fined-for-slow-over-rate-against-india\/","title":{"rendered":"West Indies fined for slow over-rate against India"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>West Indies players have been docked 80 per cent of their match fees for maintaining a slow over-rate in the first ODI against India in Chennai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ICC match referee David Boon imposed the fine after Kieron Pollard\u2019s side was ruled to be four overs short of its target on Sunday after time allowances were taken into consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn accordance with Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to minimum over-rate offences, players are fined 20% of their match fees for every over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time.
