He was the brother of Pakistan\u2019s first Sikh news anchor Harmeet Singh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talking to The Tribune over the phone, Harmeet Singh called it \u201ctargeted killing\u201d to suppress the minority community. \u201cHis marriage was fixed for next month. He was in Peshawar for shopping when unidentified assailants opened fire at him. The police say they are clueless. Unless there\u2019s pressure, the case will be buried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hailing from Chakesa in Shangla district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Harmeet Singh, a Sehajdhari Sikh, was pursuing business studies in Malaysia when he was offered a job by Public News.
