Offensively combating such criminal activities, a raid was conducted on yesterday in the Bet area alongside river Satluj, in villages Khera Bet and New Rajapur, in Ludhiana district. The operation was jointly undertaken by the excise and local police teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharing the details, the spokesperson of the Excise Department said that 1.30 lakh litres of Lahan was successfully recovered and destroyed. In addition to this, Tarpaulins, 2 drums, 1 pipe and 1 working still have been confiscated.
